Careful preparation of the teacher for the teaching unit, both theoretical and practical, is an important element of the teacher’s work and is essential for the teacher’s success and the benefit of his students. This work is intended primarily for beginning teachers who do not yet have much experience and therefore thorough preparation is all the more important for them. The aim of the work was to describe the issue of teacher’s preparation for teaching a specialized subject and the proposal of preparation for teaching units and field exercises. The theoretical part deals with the theoretical basis of teacher training and the practical part offers detailed proposals for the preparation of two teaching units of the course Environment and preparation for field exercises in this course. Methods of analysis, comparison and synthesis of theoretical knowledge of the obtained cited sources were used for the elaboration of the theoretical part. In the practical part, the knowledge from the theoretical part was used for the preparation of the topics of individual lessons, and appropriate scientific resources were used. Open, kind, friendly, but consistent attitude of the author towards students and various methods used to design preparation for lessons and field exercises can be an inspiration for other young teachers. However, the author adds that each teacher has a unique personality and style, which also changes and develops with new experiences and so each preparation will naturally always be different.
Fieldwork in soil biology

This thesis didactically processes three proposals of fieldwork for intermediate school pupils and students of lower grades of grammar schools. Two of the described sites for field education are located directly in the capital city of Prague (Prokopské valley, Meanders of Botič) and the third locality lies 30 km south of Prague (Medník). All field exercises are focused on soil, soil biology and ecology of selected localities. During the fieldwork, students apply active learning and record their results in worksheets. The first half of the thesis is a literary review describing the characteristics of the selected sites, the soil and soil organisms and selected methods of study of soil ecosystems. The last part of the literary review deals with general characteristics of field training as an organizational teaching form, its aims, methods and organization. The actual output of the whole work is the proposal of three fieldworks and methodological materials for teachers. Individual tasks in the worksheets are analysed from the didactical point of view. Two of the fieldworks were tested in school practice by the author of the thesis. The course of the two fieldworks commented and the results of the students' works are evaluated. Návrh výukového projektu pro environmentální vzdělávání na střední odborné škole

As part of the thesis named Proposal educational project for environmental education at secondary school was elaborated the theme Water as an essential part of life on Earth. The work is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The aim of theoretical part is to define the concept of the project, comparison of historical and contemporary conception of educational project, a description of teaching methods with a focus on teaching with the aid of projects and also on the positives, or risks of teaching with using educational project. An integral part of the theoretical part of the thesis is also description of the role of the teacher in the classroom with the aid of educational projects. For processing the theoretical part are used professional literatures and Internet sources. As methods for processing the theoretical part were used the analysis, comparison and synthesis. In the practical part of the thesis is the aim of the proposal educational project focusing on the theme of water. The part of the practical part is elaborated methodology of work with the created educational project and samples worksheets that will be used as part of an educational project. As a method in practical part of the thesis was used an analysis of school documents. A conclusion together with recommendations for teaching practice will be formulated based on results.
Bird territory Jaroslavické rybníky and it's use in natural history class

The main theme of my bachelor's thesis is about Bird territory Jaroslavické rybníky, and itś use in natural history class. The work is divided to two parts - theoretical and practical. At the beginning of the theoretical part, I am describing Znojmo district where Jaroslavické rybníky are found. In chapter two I am clarifying ecological concepts, which needs to be known for the following chapter about pond ecosystem and its importance in the nature. The fifth part of my work is about history of fish breeding in Morava, because ponds are often associated with it. Sixth chapter is focused on history of Jaroslavické rybníky, and the following chapter describes bird region Jaroslavické rybníky. Second, pracitical part of the thesis includes suggestions for landscaping practise and work lists associated to them. The lists comprise ecology, zoology and botany. These field exercises are designed for Javorické rybníky and their surroundings. Worksheets are intended primaly for students of second stage of elementary schools, or can be eventually used for repetition of basic knowledge of biology for students of high school. This bachelor thesis is meant to be an inspiration and source of information not only for teachers, but for all who are interested in nature and biology.
Geographical fieldwork: transmissive and constructivist approach to fieldwork in the Hvozdnice region

The thesis compares the constructivistic with transmissive geography tuition approach on Hvozdnice region model. The teoretical part defines field work, the didactic learning theories and focuses on closer description and comparison the constructivistic with transmissive pedagogical approach. The practical part brings a complete geographical characteristics of the specified area and subsequently SWOT analysis which provided crucial issues and generalization of the proposed field work worksheets. The proposed worksheets of the work field which deal with exploring of the local region are created in two variants- constructivistic and transmissive. Although there was no change in the thematic focus of the worksheets, there is the obvious difference between realization and achieving the objectives which is based on philosophy of each of the selected models of learning. Utilization of ZOO Dvůr Králové in Education

Heading: Utilization of ZOO Dvůr Králové in Education This thesis deals with the educational function of zoos and capacity utilization of the ZOO Dvůr Králové nad Labem in ethological fieldwork. The thesis results into a summary of theoretical knowledge concerning zoological gardens and their educational function supplemented by the results of questionnaire survey detecting the concept of perception of education in the Czech and foreign zoos. Further result of this thesis is a set-out of full-scale materials for ethological fieldwork including introductory lecture, worksheets and methodological manuals for teachers.
